Krista Roluahpuia, the University topper on BSc Maths in 2007 and now a research fellow in IIT Bombay, who is working on his thesis related to Quantum heterostructure. Krista is scheduled to go to Polland to present a seminar paper in September. He plans to go for post doctoral research in Germany. He explained in simple terms his research work and shared his varied experiences with the students and teachers. He also exhorted the students to dream high and work hard to make their dreams come true.
1The other special guest of the afternoon was C. Lallianzuala who successfully completed his training in “The Liverpool Way” at Liverpool FC International Football Academy., Pune and was awarded a certificate signed by the great footballer Ian Rush. He is at present playing for the club DSK Shivajian in the under 19 I-league. Zuala was the top scorer in the last season, scoring 17 goals for his club.
As Zuala came on stage, the Vice Principal suddenly kicked a football to him which he adroitly dribbled for a few for a few minutes amidst loud cheering from the football loving students. He gave an absorbing powerpoint presentation and shared his tips for success in life- “fear God, obey your parents and teachers, and work hard”.
This programme has highlighted beyond all doubt that God is faithful to those that walk in his ways. The school hopes to have more of such inspiring sessions in the future.
