Hello, welcome back to Bhss Junior news round-up. Thunderstorm is expected in some parts of Mizoram today, tomorrow and on Saturday. In the meantime, the news faction expects every child in this happy school to keep smiling, be it sunny, or rainy, or cloudy. I am R. Lalremruati of class IV, and, sitting with me here is Lalfakzuala Zadeng of class VI. Mizoram University Multipupose Hall is selected for the venue of K-Pop Contest, Northeast Round, to be held on 25th July, 2015. It is reported that the entry ticket is not yet announced. In this contest, popstars from Korea are expected to make their appearance. Preservation and renewal of our resources has been given importance by the shrewds. Fisheries department, Aizawl, on Monday, had distributed incentive cash award of rupees 40 thousand each to five NGOs, who are said to have good contribution in preserving and protecting river fish of the State. The function was held in Directorate Office, Fisheries department, Aizawl, presided over by BD Tyagi, Director, Fisheries Department. Mizoram government will ban import and sale of Maggi instant noddles in the state, Joint Director of the state health department, Lalsawma, said on Saturday. He added that the ban came after the Food Safety and Standard Authority of India (FSSAI) declared the Maggi injurious to health. The order would be issued on Monday by the Food Safety Commissioner Dr K. Ropari, adding that the state government has banned import and sale of four energy drinks – Monster, Tzinga, Cloud 9 and Akoarama. The energy drinks were banned following instructions from the FSSAI. Felicitation program was organized in the school last Friday, conducted by Sir. Cca, for the passing-out class ten students from BHSS, who had been our members here in Junior Section. The Vice Principal and other invitees gave away the rewards for the outgoing class ten students. The function was amalgamated with interviews with four successful people namely Krista Roluahpuia, Lianzuala, Lalnunfeli and Jennifer, who prosper in their respective lines, Krista had studied in BHSS in his school days, now pursuing Ph.D in IIT, Mumbai. Lianzuala is the rising star in Indian football, winning his ticket to Liverpool club, India. The latter two have just completed their Matriculation, Jennifer, who top the exam, and Nunfeli who stood third. Their presence in the felicitation program was greatly appreciated. Stan Wawrinka spectacularly shattered Novak Djokovic’s dream of a career Grand Slam on Sunday when he became the oldest winner of the French Open in 25 years. The thirty year old Swiss claimed a famous 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 victory to secure his second career major after the 2014 Australian Open. Premier League Giants Manchester United are all set to lose out on the signing of Dani Alves from Bacelona, who may join Italian greats AC Milan. Alves, who has just lifted the Champions trophy in Europe, along with two more cups this year, has willingly declared his posssible move to Milan in the Summer. Club Barcelona has become the Champion in Europe on last Saturday, winning over Juventus, an Italian giant. Arsenal has also renewed their slumbering hope by lifting FA Cup in the previous week. Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has been reflecting on a ‘bittersweet’ season with the Gunners as he prepares to play in the Copa America with Chile. The north London club won the FA Cup and finished third in the top flight but Sanchez says: “I would have liked to have been in the Champions League final, to have won the Premier League title. “I would have liked to be in the Champions League final or to have won the Premier League title.” on one of his Interviews. It’s been years since the news faction in this school has started its broadcasting. The news group is recently decided to be enlarged, taking-in more members from both the teachers and the students, who will be in the faction, thereby smoothen the progress of news broadcasting program in the future. In-charges will select names who will be in the news group, and who will assist in collecting news items. ‘Most people are happy as they make up their minds to be happy.’ However, in this school, everyone finds happiness no matter what.
